The Family Network provides comprehensive
counseling services to diverse populations
in need of assistance. Dr. Randy Heller, the center’s director, has been dedicating
herself to assisting individuals, couples,
families, and groups over the past 25 years.
Randy received her Bachelors Degree in
Education and Master's Degree in Guidance
and Counseling from Florida Atlantic
University. She has obtained a
Ph.D. in Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern
University.
Randy held multiple positions as an
Educator, Exceptional Student Specialist,
and Family Counselor for The Broward County
School Board beginning in 1980. She is now a
Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed
Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified
Supreme Court Family Mediator, Certified
Hypnotherapist, and founder of The Family
Network. She has had highly successful
experience working with all aged
individuals, parents, couples,
step-families, children of divorce, and
students with educational, motivational, and
behavioral challenges; facilitating positive
change in their behavior, interactions, and
relationships.
Dr. Heller has also received specialized training
in Collaborative Family Law. In the
Collaborative process, Randy works together
with members of a couple, family law
attorneys, and neutral financial professional as part of a
team. The goal of this approach is to
facilitate the peaceful resolution of issues
related to marital dissolution in order to
maintain the integrity of family
relationships, particularly with and about
the children. As a trained Parenting Coordinator, Randy will work with separated and divorced parents to assist them in developing an an effective plan for sharing and co-parenting their children.
